Biography
Keke Wyatt

Ketara 'KeKe' Wyatt began singing publicly at the early age of 2 in Indianapolis, IN. “I sang a gospel song in church that my daddy taught me called “How Beautiful.” KeKe has had musical influences her entire life. Her mother was a vocalist in church and her father played the organ. She attributes her vocal talents to her parents saying they were the ones that pushed her to sing. Not to mention her brothers, Keever and Kendal, would sing along with KeKe producing wonderful harmonies at home. In junior high school, Wyatt would go on to sing whenever and wherever she found an opportunity. Major record labels were wooing Wyatt at the age of 12 years old. But at the age of 14 she teamed with producer/songwriter, Steve "Stone" Huff who introduced her to R&B singer Avant during a recording session for 'My First Love. It was Huff's idea to produce a duet with Avant and KeKe. “I liked Avant from the minute I met him. So when Steve suggested that we do the song together, the chemistry between us was off the chain,” KeKe says smiling. “I really love the song, and I’m very grateful to Avant for letting me be a part of it.” The single dropped in 2001 and the world was introduced to a beautiful woman with an inspirational voice.

Biography

It wasn't long after that KeKe released her first solo album entitled 'Soul Sista' in 2001. In 2002, on Christmas day, she was arrested for allegedly stabbing her then manager/husband, Rahmat Morton five times. Though it has not always been rosy for her she continues to land on her feet; proving that she has the tenacity and determination to withstand this fickle music industry. Currently KeKe is signed to Cash Money Records working with producers Baby a.k.a. 'The Birdman' and Mannie Fresh. I will definitely look forward to her blowing us away with her awesome vocals laid over slamming beats.
